She started at the local level being twice elected to the city council, twice elected as mayor, served as chair of Alaska's Conference of Mayors and Alaska Oil and Gas Commission. She is a lifetime member of the NRA, staunch pro life, a leader in election integrity. Sarah currently lives in Alaska and is a television commentator, best-selling author, and business owner. She is obsessed with hockey and basketball and spends as much time as possible outdoors and with her kids and grandkids.

During more than 23 years in the United States Army, Collins served as a Green Beret medic and completed deployments to Afghanistan, Iraq, and South America. He and his wife, who also served in the military for more than 20 years, are proud parents of two sons.

During 23 years in the United States Navy, Renner served as a Commander in combat operations during Operation Desert Storm and as an Intelligence Officer in Operation Enduring Freedom.
As Speaker of the House, he lead the House through major conservative legislative challenges. His Committee leadership included Chair of the Rules Committee and Judiciary Committee and he served on the Appropriations Committee during his tenure. He and his family live in Palm Coast.
